Adults interested in learning the basics of art will have a new opportunity this month.
The White Springs Public Library will launch “Amateur Arts,” a monthly art program for adult beginners, on Friday, Sept. 18, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The beginner-friendly class will introduce participants to a variety of basic art techniques and mediums, including painting, jewelry, sculpting, inking and sketching.
Novice and intermediate artists are welcome to attend and explore their creativity while learning about new techniques and art history.
September’s featured subject will be Pablo Picasso.
