Veterans honored at Sweets on Hatley during Valentine’s Day event

Jason Futch Reporter2@riverbendnews.org It was a “sweet” day on Friday, Feb. 13, as Florida Youth Charitables, Inc. (FYC), in partnership with All Our Kidz, honored local Veterans during its Valentine's with a Veteran event at Sweets on Hatley.  FYC Executive Director Jennifer Gisonni, who also owns Sweets on Hatley, said it was an opportunity to honor Veterans and let them feel the community's love. “The Valentine’s with Veterans gathering demonstrated the power of intergenerational connection,” she said. “At Florida Youth Charitable, partnering with All Out Kidz, we believe our youth learn best by example and honoring our Veterans is one of the strongest lessons in gra
