Vehicle fire causes traffic delays on I-75 near White Springs

Hamilton County fire crews responded to a significant vehicle fire at approximately 11:06 a.m. on Interstate 75 northbound, which has continued to cause substantial traffic delays. The disabled vehicle is located near mile marker 443, just north of White Springs. As of 12:52 p.m., northbound traffic is moving slowly past the scene, as crews work to remove the vehicle from the roadway. The incident caused a traffic backup of approximately two miles south of the scene. Meanwhile, southbound traffic on the interstate remains unaffected.
