United Way of Suwannee Valley seeking ReadingPals volunteers

Jason Futch reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com The United Way of Suwannee Valley is seeking volunteers throughout the area to take part in its ReadingPals program. The program enables volunteers to assist pre-kindergarten and elementary school children in improving their literacy skills and addressing any questions they may have. The program is run in partnership with The Children’s Movement of Florida, a nonprofit organization based in Miami. ReadingPals volunteers must be able to commit one hour a week for 25 to 35 weeks.
