United Way of Suwannee Valley invites local leaders, professionals and community members to the Fifth Annual Leading for Tomorrow Leadership Conference, scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 26, at Florida Gateway College, located at 149 S.E. College Pl., in Lake City.
Featured workshops will cover topics such as:
- Understanding Parliamentary Procedures
- Running a Profitable Business
- Mentoring vs. Coaching
- Preventing Retention
- Using AI
Attendees will benefit from hands-on sessions led by respected speakers, including John Kuykendall, Kitty McElheny, Joy Lutz, Shauna Adams and David Anthony, and will have opportunities to network with local businesses and service providers.
“The United Way of Suwannee Valley recognizes the critical role of public-private partnerships in strengthening our region,” said Jennifer Anchors, Executive Director. “With committed staff and volunteers, our programs continue to enhance the quality of life for individuals and families across the Suwannee Valley. This conference is a key part of that effort—building leadership and capacity at the local level.”
As funding streams shift, technology evolves, and the need for services grows, local leaders face increasing challenges. While professional development opportunities are often costly and located hours away, this affordable, local conference offers high-impact training close to home.
