Two killed in early-morning crash in Hamilton County

Two people were killed early Friday morning, Oct. 31, following a single-vehicle crash on Interstate 75 in Hamilton County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, the crash occurred at approximately 3:10 a.m. near mile marker 456 on the northbound side of Interstate 75. The report states a white Toyota Corolla was traveling north when it veered off the roadway and entered the eastern ditch, where the front of the vehicle struck multiple trees. The car then caught fire.
Both the driver and passenger were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities had not yet been confirmed as of press time.
