Trojans defeat Hornets on the basketball court

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org On Thursday, Dec. 18, the Hamilton County High School Trojans hosted the Lafayette High School Hornets in a basketball showdown between both the boys and girls teams. Both schools entered hoping to prove themselves as one of the best rural basketball teams around, but only one team from each matchup could walk away with the victory. The girls played the first game of the evening. The first quarter saw the Hornets jump to a quick 18-4 lead.
