Tripp Kirkland recently beat Westwood Christian School's basketball record. On Friday, Jan. 24, he scored 44 points, beating the previous record of 38 points, which was set by Josh Dyer in 2019. On top of that, Kirkland had a double-triple by scoring 44 points, 37 rebounds and 10 assists. “We’re proud of his accomplishments,” said head basketball coach Ben Kurz. "Tripp is a great athlete who is not only leading our team in season points, but also in rebounds, assists and blocks. What I really like about Tripp, though, is his humility. He is a true team player and is quick to deflect attention from himself and praise his teammates and coaches instead."
