Tri-County Electric is offering a scholarship opportunity

Hailey Heseltine editor@riverbendnews.org Applications are now open for the Tri- County Electric Cooperative's (TCEC) Energizing Education Scholarship. Students from the Jefferson, Madison and Taylor counties have the opportunity to receive up to $2,000 to support their education. The scholarship is funded by the Energizing Education Program. Every time a TCEC member chooses to round up their electric statement to the next dollar, the cooperative gives that money back to the community by supporting local students' education. Are you, your child or someone you know eligible for the Energizing Education Scholarship? Scholarship criteria: • The recipient must be an active member of
