The splash pad at the First Federal Sportsplex has closed a few weeks early this season. Unfortunately, due to supply chain issues, Suwannee Parks and Recreation was unable to acquire a Variable Frequency Drive, an important item that helps control the speed of an electric motor. The item is on a 28-week backorder and will not arrive in time before the winter season arrives. Because of this, the splash pad has been closed a few weeks early. However, it is expected to open back up for the summer season as scheduled.
