Town Talk: Lafayette Chamber cancels Independence Day celebration

Unfortunately, the Lafayette County Chamber of Commerce has had to cancel its annual celebration. "We regret to announce that this year's 4th of July celebration has been canceled," the Chamber wrote in a Facebook post. "Due to rising costs and the recent retirement of our pyrotechnician, we are unable to host the event as planned. We appreciate your understanding and continued support."
