The Trojans’ odyssey comes to an end

Lee Trawick  Reporter2@riverbendnews.org Both the Hamilton County High School Trojans and the Lafayette High School Hornets basketball teams traveled to Taylor County for the Class 1A District 5 playoffs. The Trojans began their bid by taking on the Jefferson County Tigers in the first round on Monday, Feb. 7. The Trojans were familiar with the Tigers, having beaten the team twice in the regular season. Although the Tigers put up a fight in the playoffs, they came up short, losing to the Trojans, 63-60. On Wednesday, Feb. 9, the Hornets and the Trojans geared up to face off against each other; both teams have suffered losses on each other's home court. The Hornets were the n
