Katherine Allen Contributor I have been fortunate to have an overseas experience. It was thanks to a work colleague that I heard about the opportunity to travel. I believe that 4-H, like my work colleague, provides opportunities. I remember the first time a 4-H agent in my office took a group of kids out of state for a judging contest. Many of the kids had never been outside of Florida, and a couple had never been out of the county. For most of the kids, this was their first time flying on an airplane.
