The Madison Church of God’s annual Madison Passion Play returns to center stage on Friday, March 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Church members have been busy, preparing for months, practicing and assembling the stage in anticipation of relaying the life, ministry and death of Christ through the arts.
Along with a new scene centered around Lazarus, Jaiden Thomas is returning to portray Jesus, a role he brought to life powerfully in 2024.
The beloved play has three additional presentations: Saturday, March 28 and Sunday, March 29, at 6 p.m. and Friday, April 3, at 6:30 p.m.
As always, the play is free, but donations are appreciated. All donations help support the continued growth of their drama ministry.
Guests of the play are advised to arrive early to get a good seat and to register for a prize to be given away each night. The church is located at 771 N.E. Colin Kelly Dr., in Madison.
