Seth Adams is a well-known name in Hamilton County, not only for his work in agriculture and the farm he operates, but also for his filmmaking.
While Adams has been pursuing filmmaking for several years, his recognition is beginning to extend beyond Hamilton County and the surrounding area - especially following the success of “The Legend of Yella George” at MegaCon.
MegaCon, held in Orlando, is one of the largest conventions in Florida. The four-day event draws more than 250,000 fans of everything from sci-fi to horror. Among its many attractions is the Indie Horror Junkie Film Fest, where “The Legend of Yella George” competed.
The film faced three other entries in the Best Florida Fright category and earned the top honor, being named Best Florida Fright for 2026. It was the final festival appearance for the film before its official release.
“It was a great experience,” Adams wrote on Facebook. “I also want to thank all my cast and crew. Without all of you, there would be no Yella George.”
