
Teachers could deduct classroom expenses

With the new school year well underway, Florida educators are reminded the maximum deduction expenses in 2024 are still $300. This deduction will allow educators to offset some of the cost of classroom materials and provide a bit of relief for those who spend money out of their own pockets in order to provide a positive learning experience for their students.
