Taylor County girls’ gift to LCSO keeps Kada’s Promise

Jason Futch  [email protected] Two girls recently gifted the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office with bags that hold special significance for foster children and those who have experienced troubled homes.  Carlei Ruff and Bristol Hatch-Williams, two beauty queens from Taylor County, delivered Kada's Promise bags to the LCSO to help comfort children in Lafayette County who may be in foster care or are going through a crisis similar to one that Kada's Promise founder, Kadance "Kada" Fredricksen, experienced.  "She grew up with an abusive mother and step-father," Kada's stepmother, Lisa, said.
