Taylor County girls’ gift to LCSO keeps Kada’s Promise

Two girls recently gifted the Lafayette County Sheriff's Office with bags that hold special significance for foster children and those who have experienced troubled homes.
Carlei Ruff and Bristol Hatch-Williams, two beauty queens from Taylor County, delivered Kada's Promise bags to the LCSO to help comfort children in Lafayette County who may be in foster care or are going through a crisis similar to one that Kada's Promise founder, Kadance "Kada" Fredricksen, experienced.
