Take a stand against falls with this workshop

For the elderly, falling can cause serious injury and even death, especially in situations where they live alone. That is why the Hamilton County UF/IFAS Extension Office is hosting "A Matter of Balance." A program focused on strategies and help for those at risk of a fall. During the program, attendees will learn to "view falls as controllable, set goals for increasing activity, make changes at home to reduce fall risks and exercise to increase strength and balance."
