SVTA donates van to local domestic violence shelter

During the Suwannee Valley Transit Authority (SVTA) board meeting on Monday, July 13, the SVTA donated one of its used vans to Vivid Visions. Vivid Visions is a nonprofit in Suwannee area who provides emergency shelter, counseling, referrals, housing assistance and more for domestic violence survivors. The organization has dealt with significant funding cuts in recent years, and without transport, survivors can be delayed or even prevented from accessing the help they need.
