SVEC hosts another Touch-A- Truck event

The sun shone brightly on Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative (SVEC) on Saturday, Nov. 22. Early in the morning, unique vehicles from across the Suwannee Valley area filed onto the property and began setting up. The reason for the gathering was SVEC’s annual Touch-A-Truck event. Bucket trucks, skid steers, combines, patrol vehicles and so many more were parked across the property.
At 10 a.m., families began to arrive and enjoy the fun. Some children got in patrol vehicles and turned on the sirens. Others stood in line and took a trip up to the top of the bucket truck arm. Still others took the time to look at firetrucks, sit in the fr
