Suwannee Valley honors Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org The late Hamilton County Sheriff Harrell Reid passed away on Thursday, April 23, at 79- years-old. The longest serving sheriff in Florida history had his life remembered on Tuesday, April 28. The funeral was held at the First Baptist Church in Jasper. Afterwards, the funeral procession made its way to Evergreen Cemetery, where hundreds of people surrounded Reid’s graveside to honor his memory.
