Suwannee schools locked down after alleged swatting call

On the morning of Friday, April 24, Live Oak schools were put under lockdown. Teachers, students and parents were concerned about why the lockdowns had been enforced. Shortly after the lockdowns were implemented, they were lifted, and the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) answered the question on everyone’s mind: “What happened?”
According to the SCSO, a call came through a non-emergency line to the Live Oak Police Department (LOPD) and was quickly transferred to dispatch.
