Suwannee School Board approves routine business ahead of new school year

The Suwannee County School Board met on Tuesday, July 28, for its final regular meeting before the start of the 2026-27 school year.
The meeting opened with Chairman Ed daSilva leading the Pledge of Allegiance and a moment of prayer.
No citizen input forms were submitted, and no board members pulled items on the consent agenda for further discussion. Once board members approved the consent agenda in its entirety, they proceeded to discuss items on the regular agenda.
Little discussion was held before the approval of the agenda items, which included:
