Suwannee River Economic Council focuses on senior needs

The purpose of the program is to assist local senior citizens live dignified and reasonably independent lives in their own homes or the homes of caregivers through the provision and coordination of various community-based services.  Janis Owen, Director of Elderly Services, said the program has been available to seniors for over 30 years through a grant from the Florida Department of Elder Affairs. “Any senior in need of in-home care should reach out to
