Football season is just around the corner, and with it, the Suwannee Quarterback Club is ramping up its fundraising efforts. This year, the group is doing something unique by holding a gun raffle in collaboration with Hometown Jewelry and Loan. The plan is to give away 30 guns in 30 days. However, there is important information to be aware of:
There are only 1,000 raffle tickets available for sale, with each ticket priced at $50. The winning numbers will be picked every evening by the Florida Lottery's Pick 3 evening drawing. Those interested in purchasing a ticket must be 18 or older, and prizes must be claimed in person at Hometown Jewelry and Loan. While the winners will get a gun, even those whose ticket numbers are not drawn can rest easy by knowing their money went to support the local Bulldogs. Tickets will be on sale through Tuesday, Sept. 30, and can be purchased by simply reaching out to a board member or messaging the club through Facebook.
The giveaway will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 30 and will last until Friday, Oct. 31.
