On Tuesday, Oct. 26, the Suwannee High School Lady Bulldogs varsity golf team competed in the Class 2A District 2 Championship at Lake City Country Club. While the Lady Bulldogs were hoping to end the day as the Class 2A District 2 Champions, the ultimate goal was to put themselves in a position to advance to the Regional finals. The Lady Bulldogs were led by Lindsay Self, who ended her day as the co-medalist, meaning a tournament-best low-score. With her efforts and her teammates, the Lady Bulldogs finished the day as District Runner-Up, earning a spot in the Regional finals, which were held on Tuesday, Nov. 2, at Turkey Creek Golf Club in Alachua, Fla.
