Suwannee County School District announces winners of annual Spelling Bee

Jason Futch Reporter2@riverbendnews.org The Suwannee County School District announced the winners of the Suwannee County Spelling Bee, which took place on Thursday, Feb. 5. The contest was open to students at elementary schools in the district, as well as Suwannee Middle School, Branford High School middle school grades, Melody Christian Academy and Westwood Christian School.  The district announced that Christian Davis, an eighth grade student at Melody Christian Academy, won the district title. He was awarded a $100 gift card, courtesy of Suwannee Valley Electric Cooperative, and will travel to Jacksonville to represent the county at the First Coast Regional Spelling Bee on Thursday,
