Suwannee County School Board honors Branford students for perfect scores

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org The Suwannee County School Board met for its biannual Branford meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in Branford High School’s auditorium. The evening kicked off with a public hearing to review proposed additions and revisions to the district’s elementary and secondary student progression plans for the 2025-26 school year. There was no input from the public on the matter, so the board proceeded into its regular session. To open the meeting, members of Branford High School’s student newspaper, the Buccaneer Drift, led the Pledge of Allegiance and provided input on the school’s journalism program.
