Suwannee County NAACP celebrates freedom at annual Juneteenth festival

The Suwannee County NAACP’s Annual Juneteenth Community Festival brought together residents from across the region on Sunday, June 21, for an amazing celebration of freedom and recognition at the Suwannee County Coliseum in Live Oak.
The free community event welcomed families, community leaders, elected officials, local organizations, vendors and entertainers as they gathered to commemorate Juneteenth and honor the enduring legacy of freedom. Attendees enjoyed live entertainment, educational exhibits, youth activities and food vendors.
Following the event, the Suwannee County NAACP expressed gratitude to everyone who helped make the celebration
