Suwannee County Farm Bureau hosts annual Speech Contest

The Suwannee County Farm Bureau recently hosted its annual Speech Contest, where local students showcased their public speaking skills and agricultural knowledge. This long- standing event, held each year, provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain experience, develop confidence, and deepen their understanding of issues facing Florida agriculture. This year’s topic was “What obstacles threaten Florida agriculture’s economic viability, and how do we address them?” Congratulations to the following top three winners: Jon Weisner, first place, Branford High School; Rilee Floyd, second place, Suwannee High School; and Addison Waldron, third place, Suwannee High School.
