Suwannee Commissioners welcome new Grant Project Administrator and Emergency Management Director

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org On Tuesday, April 21, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. Following the approval of the minutes, the board turned to its time- specific item - a public hearing to consider a special permit request by Michael Bieniek from Vertical Bridge, an authorized agent for Perry Lamar Jenkins Jr., for the construction of a 225-foot self–support lattice communication tower and subsequent adoption of a resolution. Development Services Director Ronald Meeks explained that the tower would be located in the northwest section of the county. T-Mobile would be the anchor carrier; however, others would
