Suwannee Commissioners hear concerns about cell phone towers and privacy issues

On Tuesday, June 2, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The evening began with the board approving the minutes from the previous meeting.
The board then moved into a public hearing to consider a special permit request by Brant Ratcliffe, authorized agent for David B. and Carl Thomas, for an essential service 240-foot self-support communications tower and associated equipment. Chairman Franklin White opened the public hearing, and County Attorney Adam Morrison swore in all parties wishing to speak.
