Suwannee and Branford lifters shine at Power of Christmas meet

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org Suwannee and Branford High School girls' weightlifting teams competed in the Power of Christmas Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 20, facing over 20 schools from across Florida and Georgia. At the end of the day, the Bulldogs finished eighth overall with a total of 11 points, while the Buccaneers placed 15th with three points. Wewahitchka High School claimed first place overall with 33 points, followed by Navarre High School (24) and River Ridge High School (23).
