Stephen Foster Folk Culture State Park celebrates 75 years at Gala

The Stephen Foster Folk Culture State Park celebrated its 75th anniversary with a Gala that brought together the White Springs community and visitors from across the state on Saturday, Oct. 4. The event honored the park’s contributions to the Florida State Parks system and its role in preserving folk culture. The Stephen Foster Citizen Support Organization hosted the event.
According to volunteer Khrys Kantarze, over 200 people came out to celebrate and honor the legacy of the park. “People were dressed in their finest, especially the ladies,” she said.
