SRRC Memorial Barrel Race to support new scholarship program

Hailey Waldo Riverbend News The spirit of competition will take center stage on Friday, Aug. 28, as the Suwannee River Riding Club (SRRC) hosts its Memorial Barrel Race at 9132 254th Ter., in Branford. The event will feature a full evening of barrel racing action, including exhibition runs, open and youth divisions, pole-bending competitions, and buckaroo classes for younger riders. Competitors will have the chance to race for added prize money, division buckles and payouts. More than just a competition, the Memorial Barrel Race serves as the foundation for SRRC’s newly established scholarship program.
