A local business is organizing a community fundraiser to support a Live Oak family following a recent heart transplant.
Southern Sisters Boutique & Embroidery announced it is accepting preorders for a limited-run t-shirt fundraiser benefiting Ernie Clayton and his family as he continues recovery after undergoing a heart transplant.
All profits from shirt sales will be donated directly to the Clayton family to assist during the healing and recovery process.
The fundraiser features two shirt designs displaying the word “Victory,” with the letter “t” stylized as a cross. Southern Sisters said the design was inspired by Ernie Clayton’s favorite hymn, “Victory in Jesus.”
Two shirt color options are available for preorder — Flo Blue and black — and will be printed on Comfort Colors shirts for adult sizes. Toddler and youth shirts will be offered in a similar shade of blue.
The cost for the shirts is $25 for sizes 2T through youth XL and $29 for adult sizes small through 3XL.
Southern Sisters estimated a turnaround time of approximately three weeks and is accepting orders through comments on the fundraiser post. Shirts will be available to order until Friday, July 31.
