The Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) found the saying “the third time’s the charm” to be accurate as they convened on Wednesday, June 10, in Orlando, Fla. After two failed attempts in previous years to pass a ban on churches that have women serving as pastors or allow women to preach on Sunday mornings, the latest effort passed by a 74.6% majority of local church delegates, known as messengers. The proposal, called the Truth and Unity Amendment, must now pass by a two-thirds majority again next year bef
