Sherwood Harvard Boatright, 86, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Haven Hospice, Suwannee Valley Care Center, in Lake City following a brief illness. The Suwannee County native graduated from Aurora College, in Illinois and retired from Suwannee District Schools, where he taught American History at Suwannee High School for 50 years from 1958 to 2008. Boatright was a devoted member of Patmos Primitive Baptist Church. Boatright was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Arch and Susan Elizabeth Starling Boatright; brothers, Thomas Lee Boatright, Carra Monroe Boatright, John Alfred Boatright, Allen C. “Pete” Boatright, Billy Ray Boatright and sisters, Honorine Harris, Winifred P
