Second Harvest of the Big Bend is gearing up for a series of quarterly classes focused on nutrition and mindful eating.
Three Nutrition Education classes are scheduled to take place at the Live Oak Public Library. The first class will be held on Friday, April 11, from noon to 1 p.m. The following class will be held on Friday, July 11, from noon to 1 p.m. The final class will be held on Friday, Oct. 17, from noon to 1 p.m.
According to its website, Second Harvest of the Big Bend believes that healthy eating improves lives and builds strong, resilient communities. It emphasizes providing nutritious food and resources.
The classes will provide information on how to eat healthy and will provide attendees with resources and recipes for better eating.
