SCSO locates 10-year-old child near Little River Springs

The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) made a dramatic recovery on Friday, Jan. 9, with the rescue of a 10- year-old child near Little River Springs. The child was reported missing after allegedly wandering away and becoming lost in the woods.
With the assistance of K-9 Loki, Deputy Justin Stout successfully tracked and located the child from the last known location. The child was found sitting in a clear area within the woods. According to the SCSO social media page, the child was located in a “short amount of time.”
