SCSO, Attorney General dismantles fentanyl distribution network

The Suwannee County Sheriff's Office and the Florida Attorney General's Office announced the result of a year-long investigation on Tuesday, June 24, leading to the arrests of individuals involved in a major fentanyl operation, which made its way into Suwannee County.
During a press conference held at the Suwannee County Emergency Operations Center, Sheriff Sam St. John and Chief Deputy Buddy Williams were joined by acting Attorney General James Uthmeier, who provided additional information regarding the investigation, which involved multiple jurisdictions and task forces reaching all the way to Arizona.
