SCAS achieves No-Kill status

The Suwannee County Animal Shelter (SCAS) recently achieved a big win, as it announced on Friday, July 18, the shelter received a No-Kill status recognition for 2024.
“This incredible accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our team, the support of our community, and the love shown to the animals in our care. Thank you for recognizing our efforts and thank you to every adopter, foster, donor and advocate who stood with us,” the shelter posted on social media. “Together, we’ve made a life-saving difference.”
