Robert Gamsby announces resignation from White Springs Town Council

On Saturday, Aug. 15, White Springs Town Council member Robert Gamsby shared a social media post where he announced his resignation from the Town Council, as well as the Land Development Regulation and Zoning Atlas Committee, the Audit Committee and the Zoning Board. He shared that “the recent performance evaluation was more than a performance evaluation, but a referendum on whether or not the Town wants to go back to the old ways.” Gamsby was elected to the Town Council on April 22, 2025.

Riverbend News did reach out to White Springs Town Hall to ask what the next steps would be to fill the vacancy of Gamsby's seat. At the time, they did not have a comment but did let the Riverbend News they would pass the message along and have someone call us back with an answer.
