However, what many do not know is the game can continue into adulthood, specifically in the form of scalloping. Many people take advantage of scallop season, spending a day enjoying a fun activity that concludes with a delicious snack. However, this year has been different, as concerns about the safety of the Gulf of Mexico have already deterred ideas of scalloping among the general public; however, these concerns are unfounded.
