Remembering Suwannee: Old Advertisements for Suwannee County

It is very fascinating to read newspaper articles prior to airplanes, fax machines, computers and other more modern conveniences.antique methods of passing information, information still spread from coast to coast. Some time ago, I came across the May 23, 1885, edition of the Tropical Paradise newspaper of Jacksonville that contained several advertisements and news reports of Suwannee County and its environs, and I thought that I would share.
