Three weeks ago, we began looking at the life of John Fletcher White, a prominent Suwannee County judge of the late 1800s. White was born in Tennessee, served during the Mexican-American War, was elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives, became a lawyer and judge, and fought in the War Between the States. He died in 1901, a man cherished by Suwannee County and the surrounding areas. But what else was there to White's past?
