Relay 4 Raven to be held at HCHS track in October

Jason Futch Reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com Raven Merine is an eighth-grade science teacher at Hamilton County High School (HCHS) and was recently bestowed the title of the high school’s Teacher of the Year. “When you see her, you see what inspiration is in a person,” Principal Ryan Miller said during the Hamilton County School District’s banquet awards in March. “Mrs. Merine comes to work every day and brings her absolute best, and she gets the best out of her students.”  Now, Merine is seeking inspiration as she fights the battle against triple-negative breast cancer.
