The Hamilton County High School (HCHS) Beta Club is seeking vendors to participate in the upcoming Relay 4 Raven Walk-a-Thon, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 10. The event is being held to honor eighth-grade science
teacher Raven Merine, who is battling triple- negative breast cancer.
The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the HCHS football field, and will end at 8 p.m. There will be local performances, games and a survivor lap at 6 p.m. All proceeds from the event will help support Merine and her family as she battles cancer. To become a vendor, scan the QR code attached to this article and click on the “Raven Walk-a- Thon” tab. Vendor fees are $50. Those who scan the QR code can also purchase admission to the Walk-a-Thon. It is $10 for students and luminaries. A community team of up to 10 participants costs $100. Donations can also be sent through the QR code.
“Let’s come together as a school and community to show Mrs. Merine just how deeply she is loved, valued and supported,” the HCHS Beta Club wrote on social media.
