Real estate pioneer Ronnie Poole passes away

Suwannee County recently mourned the loss of real estate pioneer Ronald “Ronnie” Poole. The founder of Poole Realty, Inc., passed away on Thursday, Sept. 18, surrounded by family. According to his son, Andrew Poole, Ronnie loved the community with his whole heart, and in return, it loved him. “He gave back, not for recognition, but because it was simply who he was,” Andrew said. He said Ronnie lived by a simple, yet powerful motto: “Treat others the way you want to be treated, and always do what is fair for both sides.” Ronnie was born to Loy and Jewel Poole on Aug. 2, 1948, in Lake City.
