Residents are invited to take part in a local mitigation strategy meeting hosted by Suwannee County Emergency Management later this month.
The goal of the meeting is to identify hazards, assess risks and develop strategies to protect the community and reduce future losses. Discussion will focus on building a safer and stronger community through planning and partnerships.
The meeting will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Suwannee County Emergency Management office, located at 617 Ontario Ave. S.W., in Live Oak.
